I don't often think about the evolution of colors and what our founding forefathers did to achieve color in their homes, but this article from Houzz was too good not to read. The combination of elements to achieve colors and how those elements leeched into the atmosphere to kill those sleeping in the beautifully painted rooms. Imagine that!
